Josh Martin has been married to his wife Janell since 2004, and they have four children. Josh has been a church planter in CA, AZ, and MT and has been licensed and ordained with multiple organizations over the last 20 years of ministry. Josh's teaching and vision for the church is one that is passionate about making disciples of depth, with a focus on the Gospel and living in the power of the Holy Spirit. This focus will lead to what you will commonly hear around Dove Creek, that all of life is all for Christ. 

Pastor Blevins has been married to his bride Stacie for over 24 years. They met in high school and later started dating in college. David and Stacie have two kids, Brayden and Josie. David has a heart for the lost and a strong desire to shepherd and care for God’s flock. David’s favorite bible verse is Mathew 16:16 where Peter states “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”. David’s heart is to make Mathew 16:16 known through preaching the Word, caring for the flock and reaching the lost through outreach.

Wade Slechter has been married to Hannah since 2005 and they have five children. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry from Bluffton University and a Master’s degree in Ministerial Leadership from Wesleyan Seminary. Wade began his ministry career in Ohio where he served as a Youth Pastor and on staff with Youth for Christ. In 2016 their family moved to California so he could continue to work with Youth for Christ of Kern County. Since then, he has served in several church roles throughout Bakersfield and is passionate about investing in the next generation. Wade is excited to continue serving the local church community at Dove Creek while building relationships and helping others grow in their faith.

Kati has been married to her awesome husband Matt since 2007, and is mother to 4 wonderful crazy kids! She is excited to be leading our Kids Creek family in showing all the amazing kids who come through our door every Sunday the heart of who God is, and how much our savior Jesus loves each of them! “Children are a gift from the Lord, they are a reward from Him” – Psalm 127:3
